Alexander Hamilton is a gifted linguist and a gifted teacher of languages. His approach illuminates the structure of the language, thus giving the learner a solid framework on which to build, and also brings to life the characteristic qualities of the language being learnt. It is a flexible system, however, which easily accommodates the unique interests, abilities, and personal goals, of the learner. Alex is very patient, happy to answer any question, and excellent at tailoring one-on-one lessons to each student's requirements. Elizabeth G., London
...I
wanted to let you know that last week I hit a bit of a milestone of
managing to remain in German for the duration of an hour-long script
meeting about one of our German language projects, which is the very
first time that that has happened. Usually I read and digest German
language materials but will then rely on everyone else's excellent English and most of the time offer my own contributions in English, to
avoid them having to patiently watch me clatter my way through in
German. However - NO MORE!
It's great because
as I told you I worry about plateauing in German so it is very
gratifying to have improved in such a noticeable way and I am certain
that it is in greater part to do with the success of the lessons,
especially the focus on full formed sentences and practicing using very
real examples drawn from existing materials. My instinct for word order
for example feels now far far stronger. James C., Berlin
